Travelling to East Timor? Who we have worked with. Sunday, August 21, 2016. It is with great excitement and a touch of sadness that we let you know that we are about to head back to Oz. Its been a great 8 years here in TL but the time has come . Before it does though, what have we been up to over the last few weeks? This Ribu is the highest point on the popular island of Bali and holds incredible spiritual significance for the Balinese. It is still an active volcano, and the last major eruption was in 1963. Folklore has it that when the deities made mountains for their thrones they set the highest peak in the east, the direction of honor to the Balinese. People and ponies are walking by our camp fire on their way home from the Ainaro market some four hours away, down south in the valley. Fue cuando decidimos seguir bajando teniendo como referencia una mancha de nieve y un gran cañadón, que seguramente formaría un arroyo de montaña, que nos conduciría hacia el lago.
